I've dodged writing my own social media blog for a few years now due to the vast amount of good and mediocre blogs out there on the subject. I didn't want to duplicate what is already being done and have always struggled to find a topic - then I had the light bulb moment!!!
What am I best at (I thought to myself)? Having a bloody good rant about some bad social media practice that is out there.
Those reading this who are one of the 400 people I've coached and trained on the topic of social media for business will have heard my disclaimer:
"There is no right or wrong in Social Media, but there is good practice & there is bad practice!"
Many of you will know that the social media world is very theoretical and subjective, so this blog is my way of getting my little welsh voice out there into the digital world about what I deem as good & bad practice.
Feel free to challenge me on my thoughts as I'm very open to try things new as long as there is a bit of rationale behind it - many of social media tasks I do these days is because I've gone through a process of trial and error.
